- I often need to create some scores rapidly requiring either "common time" or "cut time" time signatures. Unfortunately there is no such options in the "create new score" wizard. The "create time signature" dialog allows to specify only numerical time signatures, like 4/4, 2/2 etc.
- My approach is to create the score initially with time signatures that follow the phraseological ideas and then, only, start to tweak the score graphically. After the music has been laid out within the constraints of regular time signatures, I reorganize the music across these bar lines.
